Sherry's done it again - taken a traditional design, and given it a twist. She added crystals to this Pineapple quilt, giving it a little extra "glitz". Sherry is shown here with Bill Schroeder, co-founder of the American Quilter Society. AQS has purchased this quilt for their museum collection.

Hi Cindi
We met at the Nashville Quilt show, I mentioned I was going to have my Diamond Log Cabin miniature quilt from your pattern in the magazine Small Quilts. You were very nice and said you would like to see it. The magazine returned my quilts this week, all the photo's have been taken and the quilts are scheduled to be published in future issues. I really can't tell you exactly what issues they will be in, they mentioned they would spread them out, and since Small Quilts magazine only comes out four times a year it could be awhile.
But I have attached a picture of my Diamond Log Cabin for you to see. Hope you enjoy it.

When I sent you a picture of my Diamond Log Cabin, I forgot to send a picture of my Mariner's Compass, I had purchased your pattern at the Nashville show. I reduced it to 21" X 21" and put some of the Australian Crystals on it. I was so impressed by the quilt that had 15,091 crystals on it at the show that of course I had to buy some for my miniatures.
Sherry used Little Bits V255 Mariner's Compass pattern to make this quilt. |
