Hi Sew Girls,

Just wanted to share some feathered star blocks with you girls.  A friend from my Germany sew group wanted to do a feathered star quilt and fell in love with Cindi's pattern. She started it three to four years ago and you know how we all let unfinished projects lay around. Well I decided to do the feathered stars for her and she will do the alternate blocks. Here are some of them. She wants the KING SIZE quilt so there are 16 feathered star blocks (not all pictured here) that are done. All the reds and blacks are different and they came out beautiful. I have to say it might be at least 10 years before I do another feathered star. Cindi, thought of you for this last week while working on these.

Enclosed is a photo of a bird feeding out of my hand. Bill and I have these little chickadees feeding out of our hands now. The bad thing is they yell at us when ever we are outside now for food.
